Working title: Find Your Passion

High-concept summary: My sister, Chelsea, is a 20-year old college student who, like many others, is confused about her major.

Brief description: My sister’s story is interesting because it appeals to many college students or high school seniors who soon have to make a big decision about which career to pursue. My sister will discuss the pressures she felt from society to become trained for a “real job” as opposed to following her passion and pursuing Acting. She will also provide the deciding moment when she realized she could only be happy doing something she loved.

High-concept summary:  I will share a story about meeting my current girlfriend, Melanie.  I would consider a history class with a unenthusiastic professor to be a hopeless place.  Somehow I managed to find love there.

Brief Description: I met my current girlfriend in the most random and unlikely of situations.   I didn’t expect to find that special someone in the middle of an absolutely terrible European History class.  I will provide a brief review of the rather comical events that took place while talking to her for the very first time.

Working title: Dance

High-concept summary: how dance and music inspire us

Brief description: I knew I wanted to do an inspirational story. I’m thinking of having either myself or a talent perform a dance and have them explain what specific style of dance they are passionate about and the history of the dance form and how inspiring it has been in their life. I’m thinking to present it in a documentary style by having close ups of the talent as they explain their story and having their audio play in the background while they are performing and showing clips of them dancing.

I would intertwine their answers in post production, cutting back and forth between the CU shots of them. To end the video I want to have them sitting next to each other and show them holding hands.

High-Concept Summary: I want to do a sixty second documentary on amatuer MMA fights. It was sponsored by a company called Dead Serious, and featured twelve fights. I wanted to do a series of cuts of them walking in, approaching the cage, fighting, winning, losing, then leaving. Sort of like highlights but more like piecing similar moments together.
